1.小朋友们出行好帮手就是一个scooter, 也可以表示另一种车：a light motorcycle, usually with small wheels and a curved metal cover at the front to protect the rider’s legs.

2. Marbles是一种游戏，marble就是小时候最爱的彩色玻璃弹珠呀：a small ball of colored glass that children roll along the ground in a game。

3. gosh: exclamation (old-fashioned, informal) when you are surprised, shocked, you say the word.

4. Bull’s eye = bullseye = bull: usually singular: the center of the target that you shoot or throw at in shooting archery or darts.

5. Kiddo: child, kid; used as a familiar form of address

6. Phew: a sound that  people make to show that they’re hot, tired or happy that something bad has finished or did not happen.

7. Take a hike = take a walk = to go away: NAmE, informal, a rude way of telling sb to go away of 在英文中有超过20种以上让人“走开”的表达，其中大多数被标记为“impolite, informal, spoken”，我想可能是因为，在很多时候，我们在让人走开，就是在表达自己的不满和不想被打扰，其中就包含了不礼貌的含义。

8. brat: a person, especially a child, who behaves badly.

    A runaway kid 离家出走的小孩，就可以这么表达。父母生气了，说着孩子是个brat，孩子一气之下 run away，成立一个runaway kid。

9. Raisin: a dried grape, used in cakes, etc. 葡萄干，是可以数得清的。

10. Take a leak = to urinate 小便也有很多种表达方式，或委婉，或直接，很有意思。

11. checkmate是国际象棋，作为动词可以直接表示“将。。。军” checkmate is a chess move that makes it impossible for your opponent to win.

13. Take it easy: idiom, informal: used to tell sb not to be worried or angry

14. Sleep night = nighty night = good night 表达晚安的新方式

15. Call it a day: idiom, informal: to decide or agree to stop doing something

16. Cut somebody some slack: idiom, to be less critical of sb or less strict with them

17. Talk (some) sense into someone: to persuade someone to act in a sensible way

最后是精彩的表达：

19. Old habits die hard. 老习惯很难改。

20. Jump up onto my back. 小时候，爸爸让你骑在背上，带你四处玩之前，总得说这句话。

21. I need to pull out your back teeth, because they are rotten. 拔后牙，他们都坏了。

22. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the most handsome of all? 魔镜魔镜，谁是世界上最帅的人？

24. Reason with someone: 理论理论

25. Let’s trick our way into the station.

26. The engine seems dead. 发动机坏了。可以用dead这个词哦～
