The Conference approved the Report on the Work of the Government presented by ZhouEnlai and adopted the Resolution on the Report on the Work of the Government,the Main Indicators of the National Economic Program for 1965 and thePreliminary Arrangements for the State Budget for 1965. The Conference approvedthe Report on the Work of the Standing Committee of the National People'sCongress, the Report on the Work of the Supreme People's Court presented by XieJuezai and the Report on the Work of the Supreme People's Procuratoratepresented by Zhang Dingcheng. The Conference also approved the nomination ofthe Chairman and members of the Nationalities Committee and the Chairman andmembers of the Bills Committee of the National People's Congress.

会议批准了周恩来做的《政府工作报告》，通过了《关于政府工作报告、一九六五年国民经济计划主要指标和一九六五年的国家预算初步安排的决议》。会议批准了人大常委会工作报告、谢觉哉作的最高人民法院工作报告和张鼎丞作的最高人民检察院工作报告。大会还通过了全国人民代表大会民族委员会主任委员、委员人选和法案委员会主任委员、委员人选。

The Congress called upon workers, peasants and intellectuals of all nationalities, democratic parties and democrats, patriotic national bourgeoisie elements, patriotic overseas compatriots and all other patriots to unite more closely, consolidate and develop the People's Democratic United Front and, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and Chairman Mao Zedong, to continue to carry forward the heroic spirit of striving for self-improvement and self-reliance, and to strive to build, within a not too long period of history. We will strive to build our country into a great and powerful socialist country with modern agriculture, modern industry, modern defense and modern science and technology.

大会号召全国各族的工人、农民和知识分子，各民主党派和民主人士，爱国的民族资产阶级分子，爱国侨胞和其他一切爱国人士，更加紧密地团结起来，巩固和发展人民民主统一战线，在中国共产党和毛泽东主席的领导下，继续发扬奋发图强、自力更生的英雄气概，为争取在不太长的历史时期内，把我国建设成为一个具有现代农业、现代工业、现代国防和现代科学技术的伟大强盛的社会主义国家而奋斗。
