卜祥志1985年12月10日出生于山东青岛。1999年晋升特级大师，目前等级分2705，世界排名第33位。

卜祥志6岁半开始学棋，启蒙老师是纪蕴奇。1998年，卜祥志在西班牙奥罗佩萨获得世界青少年锦标赛男子14岁组冠军，成为中国男子棋手的第一个分龄组世界冠军。

1999年10月23日，卜祥志以13岁10个月13天的年龄成为世界上最年轻的男子特级大师，打破吉尼斯世界纪录。

2004年，卜祥志获得全国个人赛冠军。2008年，获得直布罗陀公开赛并列冠军，等级分首次突破2700分大关，步入一流棋手行列。

2007年在西班牙毕尔巴鄂举行的盲棋世界杯中，在与托帕洛夫、小波尔加、卡尔森等世界名手的对弈中，提前两轮获得冠军。

2008年，首届世界智力运动会获得国际象棋快棋个人金牌、快棋团体金牌、超快棋团体银牌。

2010年和2012年，获得海南儋州男子超霸战冠军。

2015年获得世界团体锦标赛冠军。2018年获得奥赛冠军。

Bu Xiangzhi was born on December 10, 1985 in Qingdao, Shandong. Grandmaster since 1999. Current rating 2705. He is currently No.33 in the world.

Bu Xiangzhi started to learn chess at age of 6 and a half years old, and his enlightenment teacher was Ji Yunqi.

In 1998, Bu Xiangzhi won the World Youth Championships U14 in Oropesa, Spain, which is the first youth world title of a Chinese male chess player.

In 1999, Bu Xiangzhi became the then youngest-ever Grandmaster at the age of 13 years, 10 months, and 13 days.

In 2004, Bu Xiangzhi won China National Championship.

In 2007, Bu Xiangzhi won the Blindfold Chess World Cup in Bilbao by a 1.5-point margin, defeating strong Grandmasters Veselin Topalov, Magnus Carlsen, Pendyala Harikrishna, Judit Polgar and Sergey Karjakin in the process.

In 2008, Bu Xiangzhi tie for 1st with Hikaru Nakamura at the Gibraltar Chess Festival and passed 2700 Elo rating for first time.

In October 2008, Bu Xiangzhi won men's rapid individual and team tournament in the 1st World Mind Sports Games in Beijing.

Bu Xiangzhi was part of the Chinese team that won the gold medal in the World Team Chess Championship in 2015. He was also in Chinese team that won the 43rd Chess Olympiad in 2018.

卜祥志至2010年开始前后参加八次中国海南儋州国际象棋特级大师超霸战，今年9月22日将第九次参加中国海南儋州国际象棋特级大师超霸战，他曾力压群雄夺得第一届以及第三届超霸战冠军。

2017年国际棋联世界杯中卜祥志执黑棋战胜世界棋王卡尔森，成为第一位在慢棋赛中战胜卡尔森的中国棋手。如今卜祥志等级分已达到2705分，让我们一起期待今年他在中国海南儋州第十二届国际象棋特级大师超霸战的精彩表现！
