比赛之前我做过了很多针对性的训练，不仅自己常练习演讲稿，还常请爸爸妈妈来听我演讲，之后他们来提出问题，这样反复模拟演练爸爸妈妈就可以知道我的准备情况。

尽管模拟演练了很多次，但开学忙于其他科目学习，为全国赛所做的训练效果不如假期密集训练的效果好。

所以作为首次参赛，我的表现没有达到预期，但我同时也感受到了其他参赛选手无论是从语言功底、认知水平还是舞台表现力都非常有竞争力。

有了这次难忘参赛经历，我更清楚今后要从哪些方面去准备了。

通过参加这次大赛，我不仅懂得了做什么事情都要充分准备，而且还和浙江的胡畔和上海的朱涵瑜交了朋友。她两都得了一等奖，这让我非常的羡慕，也为她们高兴！

今后要好好准备，我也一定会像她们一样获得一等奖的。

My favorite festival

The Spring Festival, falling on the first day of the first lunar month, always calls all Chinese people back home for family reunions. Celebrating the festival means reunion and the very beginning of the year.

For me, the festival means not just new clothes, lucky money and splendid fireworks, but great expectations. we sing nursery rhymes before the festival and kids perform plays. We cut and paste window decals and spring festival couplets for good fortune. Most excitedly, we enjoy the Lion and Dragon dance and stilt walkers. With all the activities unique to the Spring Festival, it is my favorite festival!

Going back to the countryside to celebrate the Spring Festival allows me to experience different celebrations. That’s the occasion when I meet my cousins and other relatives. Together we stay up late on the eve around a big fire, sharing our own stories or listening to legends of the festival passed down generation by generation in this way. We set off firecrackers and fireworks to welcome the lunar new year. We go fishing and enjoy eating fish as a necessary part of the festival. We’re all in a festive mood of the countryside with more relatives, more cars, more kids and more laughter.

With great expectations before the festival, great fun and best wishes during it, as well as its amazing traditions, the Spring Festival makes me grow up with Chinese style. Enjoy the Spring Festival fully, and you will be Chinese.
