英语教资面试教案模板——写作

四、Teaching procedures

Step 1 Pre-writing (minutes)

1.Warm up and lead in

Ask students to read the short essay with the following question:

(1)what’s the basic structure of this essay?

(2)what are the main idea of this essay?

 Students have three minutes to finish the task and share their answers.

2.Discussion  

Divide students into groups of four,ask students to discuss and list the things that jump into their minds related to.....

(Justification: This step aims to help students to get familiar with the topic and have many topics to choose so they can organize contents easily in their writing. )

Step 2 While-writing (minutes)

1.Drafting

Show students the correct format of a letter and ask students to write their first draft. While they’re writing,teacher will give the instructions for their problems.

2.Self-editing

Provide the writing standard to students ,make them revise their letters on their own and remind them of the following tips:

(1)use the tense correctly

(2)compete the letter

(3)use some complex sentence in the letter

3.Peer-editing

Ask students to edit their partner’s writings,check the ideas or the logical development, pay attention to the grammar,spelling and punctuation of their writings.

(Justification: Drafting and editing can help students to cultivate their ability to write a letter with correct format and tense, grammar, spelling and their good writing habits will be formed as well. )

Step 3 Post-writing (minutes)

1.Sample show

Choose one or two students’ writing and show them to the whole class to find the advantages and disadvantages of them and give them some evaluations.

2.Revising

Ask students to revise their articles according to the evaluations.

(Justification: It helps students to know the standard of an excellent writing and the evaluations will help students learn more from others. )

五、Summary and Homework 

1.Summary

Invite one student to summarize what we have learned today, then the teacher makes a conclusion.

2.Homework

Write a short passage about......

(Justification: It can help students consolidate what they have learned in this class.)
