上数学课时，我们学到“两点之间，一条直线最短”，而在人生旅途中，也是这样，每个人都想花最少的时间精力，以最短的距离达到目标，用一条直线连接出发点及目的地，而直线就是努力的方向和途径。

无论我们做什么事情，都需要有属于自己的原点和目标点；要知道哪里是原点所在，更要了解目标是什么，否则，如果没有原点，就会让你觉得不知从何下手，无法有好的开始，若缺乏目标，就不知要何去何从，浪费了宝贵的时间与精力，会使你没有方向，最终一事无成。

所谓原点，就是要了解自己目前的状况与能力，以及条件具备否。而目标就是你真正想要达到的境界、完成的理想。并且一定要非常明确具体，可以衡量又容易追踪的。唯有先确定原点及目标点，才能象火箭般的以最快的速度奔向目的地。

WHY DID I STOPDRIVING THE CAR

As time goes by, more and more people incities are driving instead of walking because driving is really convenient andfast which has greatly improve the quality of our life and work.

However,I decide not to drive any more. There are several reasons for my decision. As we all know, air becomesmore and more polluted. The less exhaust a car produces, the less harmful thematerials affect the air. Besides, the precious petroleum resource, as cars’main energy source, is becoming less. What is important, the traffic accidents causeincreasing tragedies and injuries.

As we can imagine, whatan invisible danger there exists in driving. Everyone has the responsibilityand obligation to protect the air and everyone should cherish the preciouslimited resources. Go back on the earth (回到现实), walking or taking public transportation tool are respectively moresafe so I firmly gave up driving.

The car is the greatest inventionand most used in the 20^th century. The car brings us a lot ofconvenience. People drive to work and go home every day inthe city.

However,every coin has two sides. I think cars have a great many of disadvantages.Therefore, I have decided not to drive. As is known to us, car exhaust has negative influenceon the environment. We breathe the polluted air so that body healthgets worse gradually. What is more, too many cars on the road cause traffic jamsand accidents.Usually, rush hour takes up/ costs people a lot of timeand makes people miss meets. The whole city is full of car horns.

For my view, I wouldlike to stop driving the car and use more public transportation tools, such as bus, subway and bike to protect our life environment and guardour health.
