今天我们来看一个口语中很常见的短语：

in God's name

先来看看它的意思：

If someone uses such expressions as what in God's name, why in God's name, or how in God's name, they are emphasizing how angry, annoyed, or surprised they are.

“看在上帝的份儿上，到底，究竟。”

这样的结构都是在强调他们是多么生气、恼怒或惊讶。
