小风车广洋新景幼儿园

— “体验日”活动 —

想象一下你从来没有尝过一个真的柠檬，你就无法知道那种滋味。

Imagine that you have never tasted a real lemon, you will not know what flavor it is.

Learning opportunities are far greater when children have the chance to experience something first hand. Not only does it allow children the chances to use all their senses when they are exploring, but it also increases motivation, helps the development of language, improve the behavior as the child is more engaged, and further develops their understanding of the world.

小风车广洋新景幼儿园在这个五月开展了“体验日”活动，鼓励孩子在家中选择扮演一个家庭成员的角色，去体验他们的“工作”。让我们来看看小朋友们的精彩表现吧！

Therefore, Little Windmill Kindergarten held a themed activity ‘Experience Day’. We invited children to play the role of one family member and do his/her ‘work’. Let’s see how it went.‍

首先，我们给家长们线上发送了体验日计划书，这样孩子们可以在家长的帮助下更好地体验角色。

We sent parents the ‘experience day’ plan in order to let parents help children plan ahead.‍

小班组 K1

体验爸爸的角色—折被子

I played the role as my dad—do the bed‍

体验妈妈的角色—洗袜子

I played the role as my mom —wash socks‍

体验阿姨的角色—擦桌子

I played the role as my Ayi— wipe the table‍

体验外婆的角色—包饺子

I played the role as my grandma—make dumplings.‍

中大班组 K2&K3

体验妈妈的角色—做月饼

I played the role as my mom—Make moon cakes‍

体验妈妈的角色—洗衣服

I played the role as my mom—do the laundry‍

体验爷爷的角色—做西红柿炒鸡蛋

I played the role as my grandpa—make tomato & egg stir fry‍

体验哥哥的角色—收拾餐桌

I played the role as my brother—clean the table‍

我园也会在将来给孩子们更多的机会去体验美好的人生。也希望家长朋友们也多给孩子亲身体验各种事物的机会，作为校内学习的延伸。这样孩子们会获得更多终身受益的技能。

Our kindergarten will provide more opportunities for children to have real-life experience. Dear parents, please also provide your child with first-hand experiences extending their learning outside of the school and supporting them in developing key skills used for the rest of their lives.‍
