大赛意义

運動技能は練習によって次第に形成され、一般的には以下の段階を経なければならない。
①認知的方向性の段階。つまり、知識と原理を学び、正しい動作パターンに対して鮮明な視覚表象を形成する過程である。その上で、個々の動作はほぼ完成するが、融通がきかず、調和がとれず、一貫したシステムが形成されない。②動作システムの初歩的な形成段階。この段階から一貫した動作が身につき、認知から運動へ、個別の動作から動作の協調と組織へと注意が移る。③調整・整備段階。この段階の動作はすでに時間と空間に一貫して安定した動作システムを形成して、速度と正確性が向上して、緊張と余分な動作が消えた。さらに重要なのは、この段階では意識による動作の制御が弱くなり、自動化のレベルに達し、動作を調節するフィードバック方式が視覚制御から動覚制御に変換されることである。このように、動作の完成は視覚と意識全体への依存から脱却し、原稿を読みながらタイピングしたり、車を運転しながらガイドをしたりするなど、他の情報をより良い条件で処理できるようになり、より複雑なタスクをよりスムーズにこなすことができ、変化する状況に応じてスキルを柔軟に活用するのにも役立ちます。
