Fox News TV host Tucker Carlson praised several of China's recent nationwide restrictions and said its government was doing "something virtuous," while he criticized US leadership.
"As the Chinese government put it: houses are for living in, not for speculation. That's a very good point. They may have learned it from watching, say, the state of California," said Carlson. He noted that the median price of a house in California is $800,000, and said homelessness there is "totally out of control." "The Chinese don't want to copy that model," he added.
...nor do they want a California-style popular culture, one that worship celebrity over achievement.
Additionally, he compared China's cut on video game time for under-18 kids to gaming among children in the US, citing a 2020 poll from the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital that found 86% of 963 surveyed parents thought their teens spend too much time on video games.

近日，福克斯新闻电视节目主持人塔克·卡尔森赞扬了中国最近在全国范围内实施的几项限制措施，并表示中国政府正在做“一些好事”，同时批评了美国的领导人。

此外，他还引用了密歇根大学莫特儿童医院2020年的一项民意调查，将中国未成年人的电子游戏时间与美国儿童的游戏时间进行了比较。该调查发现963名接受调查的家长中有86%认为他们的孩子在电子游戏上花费的时间太多。
