On January 28, 2021, American Airlines 1237 from Dallas Ft. Worth to Saint Thomas, was enroute at FL370 about 110 nm north of New Orleans when the crew received indications of a fuel leak on the left hand engine, shut the engine down and diverted to New Orleans for a safe landing on runway 11 about 30 minutes later.
