居文君1991年出生于上海，2009年晋升女子特级大师。2011年晋升特级大师。现任女子世界冠军。等级分2560。

2010年和2014年，两次获得全国女子锦标赛冠军。

在2013-2014女子大奖赛中获得大奖赛总积分第三名。在2015-2016女子大奖赛中，获得大奖赛总冠军，进而获得2018女子世界冠军赛挑战权。

2018年5月，居文君在女子世界冠军对抗赛中，战胜谭中怡，首次登上棋后宝座，成为国际象棋历史上第17为女子世界冠军。2018年11月，居文君在女子世锦赛中过关斩将，再夺世界冠军头衔，完成了一年两夺棋后桂冠的壮举。2020年，居文君战胜俄罗斯棋手戈尔亚奇金娜，第三次获得世界棋后桂冠。

2017年和2018年，居文君连续两次在世界快棋锦标赛中获得冠军。

2009年和2011年，居文君两次获得世界团体锦标赛冠军。2016年和2018年，两次获得奥赛团体冠军。

Ju Wenjun was born in Shanghai on 31 January 1991. Woman Grand master since 2009, Grandmaster since 2011. She is the current Women's World Chess Champion. Current rating 2560.

Ju Wenjun won the China National Women's Championship in 2010 and 2014.

Ju Wenjun placed 3rd in overall standings in the Women's Grand Prix series for 2013-14. And in Women's Grand Prix series for 2015-16, she finished first in the overall standings and earned the challenger spot in the Women's World Chess Championship Match 2018.

In May 2018, Ju Wenjun challenged the Women's World Champion of 2017, Tan Zhongyi, in the Women's World Championship (2018) that was played in Shanghai and Chongqing. She took the title by winning the 10-game match by 5.5-4.5, becoming the 17th Women's World Champion.

Several months later, in the Women's World Chess Championship Tournament of November 2018, Ju Wenjun defended the women's world chess champion title.

In January 2020, Ju successfully defended the women's world chess champion title against Aleksandra Goryachkina in the Women's World Chess Championship 2020. She won with the score of 2.5–1.5 in the rapid tiebreaker after having equalized the classical time control games 6–6.

In 2017 and 2018, Ju won the Women's World Rapid Chess Championship twice in Riyadh and St. Petersburg respectively.

Ju Wenjun was a member of the gold medal-winning Chinese team at the Women Chess Olympiad (2016 and 2018) and the World Women Team Chess Championship (2009 and 2011).
