北京时间10月7日19点，据诺贝尔文学奖官网最新消息，坦桑尼亚小说家阿卜杜勒扎克·古尔纳（Abdulrazak Gurnah）获得2021年诺贝尔文学奖，是十多年来第一个获奖的非洲人。
颁奖词是：“毫不妥协并充满同理心地深入探索着殖民主义的影响，关切着那些夹杂在文化和地缘裂隙间难民的命运。”
“His uncompromising and compassionate penetration of the effects of colonialism and the fate of the refugee in the gulf between cultures and continents.”
代表作品：《天堂》（1994），《沙漠》（2005）和《海边》（2001）。
小说家玛扎·门吉斯特形容他的散文：
“Like a gentle blade slowly moving in.” “His sentences are deceptively soft, but the cumulative force for me felt like a sledgehammer。”
