辛丑,2021年中秋颂

秋高气清，层波涌起。清风朗月，波纹涟猗。月光皎皎，波光粼粼。縠皱轻柔，流水盈盈。交交黄鸟，止于中洲。翔鸟于飞，鸣于北林。兰馨桂馥，郁郁芬芬。蟋蟀在堂，鸧鹒载鸣。登彼阆风，爰绁我马。驰于大卤，止于椒丘。草木坠矣，摇落于土。岂为衰也，其黄如金。晴空排鹤，雁自成行。鸣于九薮，翱于山阿。翙翙其羽，振振于飞。

琼楼玉宇，璇室瑶台。层台累榭，紫闼蓬莱。我酒既清，我肴又馨。庭内清絜，笾豆齐楚。我客戾止，有来雍雍。至止肃肃，鸣鸾锵锵。既见君子，我心则降。衔觞酬酢，众宾欢颜。乐只君子，侑饮醉言。曰：“湛湛露斯，匪阳不晞。厌厌夜饮，不醉无归。”曰：“兕觥其觩，旨酒思柔。彼交匪敖，万福来求。”纵丝竹管弦之盛，以从其意。笙箫钟鼓之乐，以肆其心。曰：“如此良夜，相胥以燕。乐酒今夕，君子维宴。”曰：“嘉爵速饮，后爵乃从。既醉有侑，明日勿慆。”遂相与欢，式燕以衎乐焉。

人有所极，结撰至思。同心有作，嘉若兰芳。吾闻之：“君子之好乐，为无骄也。小人之好乐，为无慑也。”于此佳节之日，觏此良人。去班职之隤事，弛役力之劳形。抚掌抃欢，以诉中情。夫君子之为学也，临于轩前而日孜孜。诗书礼乐陈于前，格知度理，求索而致思。处乎暇时则息以游，作乐以愉，以舒其心。良友在其侧，切磋琢磨，辅而相成焉。彼良朋益友，直谅多闻，纯德之士也。体余至情，弼我正直。若吾之所美者，嘉我以善，德懋懋焉。吾之所过者，匡我以正，为益进哉！人若不言，予何所闻焉？若殷高宗命傅说以启沃其心，众士济济而文王以宁，尚贤士也。建安文人之集于邺下，竹林贤者聚会于河阳，相励志焉。如有良善，则勉之劝之。如有过也，则正而改之，庶几有臧，吾心所怿焉。若吾之为善也，人皆乐与我哉！从其道者，而吾有行。念彼共人，眷眷怀顾。我心伊何，情深永驻。温温恭人，静和且闲。既安既宁，无有后艰。心有所感，乃作此歌。诒佳人君子，咏吾之言。人之好我，示我显良。我心写兮，燕尔嘉宾。

辛丑 2021年中秋节

In the fine autumn weather, the air is so clean, the layer waves are rolling. The wind is refresh, the moon is clear, the waves are rippling. The moon light is bright, the light of waves are glistening. Similar as the wrinkle crape, so lithe and gentle, and the flowing water is plentifully. The siskins are singing, with chiao-chiao- of their sounds, staying at the middle of the island. The birds are flying, sounding at the north forest. The orchids are fragrant, osmanthus are perfume, luxuriant and bouquet. Crickets are staying at the hall, and orioles are sounding. Ascend the mountain of Lang-Feng, and at that I rest my horse. Gallop at the wide field, and stay at the pepper hill. The grasses and woods are falling, and shake down on the ground. Could you say that it might be decayed? It brights as the metal. At the fine day the cranes rank onto the sky, and the geese line up. Cry in the ninth pool, and soar at the valley of the mountain. Sound hui-hui- of their wings, and vibrate up to fly.

The sumptuous building and jade-pavilion, the elegant lobby and luxuriant tower. Towers are layer upon layer, purple-palaces as Peng-Lai. My wine is clear, and my food is fragrance. The courtyard is clear and clean, and the dishes of bamboo and wood are tidy and arranged in rows. My guests come here, they are full of harmony. They come here with solemnity, with tinkling bells, chiang-chiang- of their sounds. As I have seen the noble men, and my heart is glad. Hold the glasses and toast each others, all the people are happy. Rejoiced the noble men, urge to drink, and drunk to say. Saying: ‘Heavy lies the dew, nothing but the sun can dry it. Happily and long into the night we drink, there is no retiring, utill all of we are drunk.’ Saying: ‘The cup of rhinoceros horn is long and curved, the wine is good and solt. Not to be so arrogant in getting along with others, all the happiness and wealth may come to us.’ Loose with the grand string and wind instruments, to free our moods. The organs and flutes, bells and drums to enjoy, all elate our hearts. Saying: ‘In this propitious night, we rejoice the party altogether. Rejoice over our spirits for the present evening, we all enjoy our feast.’ Saying: ‘The wine in the exquisite goblet, swift drink it, and follow the other glass. Even get drunk ever urge to drink, and aftertime we won’t be neglected.’ Then we all rejoice each others, feast and be glad.

All the people have the principle, rack their brains to compose verse. Indite the works with one heart, perfect as the orchids’ fragrance. I heard that: ‘As the noble man like to be joyful, for not to be arrogant. As the ordinary people like to be joyful, for not to be so worried and awed.’ In this joyous festival, meet this admirable men. Remove the exhausted things of the job, and allay the tired shapes at the hard work. Shake hands and clap cheerfully, open the sincere hearts to each others. As the noble man to study, stay at the schoolroom and daily assiduity. Pomes, Books, Etiquettes and Songs set out at present, investigate knowledges and explore ethics, quest and ask, and lead to thoughts. At leisure times, to be rest and make friends, pursue pleasure and to be joyful, and to be comforted. There are noble friends near my side, compare notes and ponder ideas, mutually assist and achieved each others. The virtuous companions and worthy friends, they are integrity, sincere and erudite, they all have the pure virtue. They apprehend my heart, and assist me correct and upright. If that is my beauty, they praise me with eulogistic words, and encourage me virtuously. That is my fault, they rectify me of rights, and let me improve. If others don’t say anything, what can I learn about? As Kaou-Tzung of Yin appointed Fu-Yueh to enlight and nourish his heart, there were numerous noble scholars and Kind-Wan’s heart is fine, they honoured the virtuous persons. As Chien-An period’s literatus gathered at Yeh below, the bamboo grove’s virtuous scholars partied at the north of Ho, they encouraged their aspirations each others. If I have that excellences and kindnesses, encourage it and urge it. If I have something wrong, correct and change it. It’s so nice, and what my heart is cheer. If I have a goodwill, others will be delighted in support me. Take the proper courses, and that is my moral. Think of the reverent people, cherish and remember back to them. What am I think so? The sentiment is so deep and permanently remain. As the reverent peole, they are tranquil peaceful and harmony, and to be fine. Be gentle and peaceful, and aftertime would not be a hardship. With some capricious thoughts in my heart, I write down this rhyme. Present to admirable people and noble men, to utter my said. Others love me, and show me distinguished. I write down, and my heart is rejoiced, and feast yours, my admirable guests.
