阳民解读2021诺贝尔经济学奖经济学家的杰出贡献及应读书单
2021年10月11日,2021年诺贝尔经济学奖得主揭晓,三位经济学家David Card、Joshua D.Angrist 、Guido W.Imbens共同获得获得这一奖项。
David Edward Card ,生于 1956年,是美国加利福尼亚大学的劳工经济学家和经济学教授(is a Canadian American labour economist and Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley)。
David Card于1978年获得女王大学文学学士学位,1983年获得普林斯顿大学经济学博士学位,在博导Orley Ashenfelter的指导下完成了题为“长期劳动合同中的指数化”的博士论文(earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen's University in 1978 and his Ph.D. degree in economics in 1983 from Princeton University, after completing a doctoral dissertation, titled "Indexation in long term labor contracts", under the supervision of Orley Ashenfelter)。
